Robin Ducot Joins Eventbrite as Vice President of Engineering


SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - September 28, 2010) -   Eventbrite, the fastest growing event ticketing and social commerce company, today announced that Robin Ducot has joined the company as Vice President of Engineering. In this position, Robin will play an integral role in spearheading the company's technical development as Eventbrite continues to fundamentally change the way people host, discover and attend their favorite events.

Prior to Eventbrite, Ducot served as VP of Web development at Linden Lab, where she led the web design and development team responsible for all of the company's web properties. Before Linden Lab, Ducot was VP of Web development at Adobe Systems, where she was responsible for the Adobe Web platform (both user experience and technology), delivering all adobe.com Web properties as well as the commerce and subscription platform behind Photoshop.com and Acrobat.com. She was also the VP of Web development at Macromedia, and held a variety of web technology roles at Reuters and AT&T. Ducot received her BS in Computer Science and Art History from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
