6 Oktober 2010 - Aker Solutions skal levere et komplett stigerørssystem ("drilling riser system") på 2 438 meter til Sevan Marines dypvannsrigg Sevan Brasil.
Kontraktsverdien er på mer enn 230 millioner kroner. Leveransen består av flere enn 100 stigerør, som vil bli fremstilt på Aker Solutions' produksjonsanlegg i Rio das Ostras i Brasil.
- Vi er veldig godt fornøyd med at Sevan Marine har valgt Aker Solutions' CLIP Riser(TM) system for sin neste dypvannsrigg. Denne kontrakten er nok et bevis på vår industrikompetanse og sterke lokale tilstedeværelse og posisjon i Brasil, sier Tom Munkejord, president i Aker Solutions' stigerørsavdeling.
Aker Solutions har for tiden 14 stigerørssystemer i drift, hvorav tre har blitt produsert i Rio das Ostras. Selskapet har levert fire stigerørssystemer i år.
Kontrakten er signert og registrert som ordreinngang i tredje kvartal i 2010.
