W2 Energy's Files US Patent for NT Plasma Engine


GUELPH, ON--(Marketwire - October 14, 2010) -  W2 Energy, Inc., a clean energy company (www.w2energy.com) (PINKSHEETS: WTWO), is pleased to announce that it has filed a U.S. provisional patent on its non-thermal plasma assisted compressed air engine. The company continues to aggressively take steps to make sure that its proprietary technology is fully protected as it implements is marketing plan.

The NT Plasma Engine will utilize compressed air blended with natural gas and water vapor. This blend of gases will then be fed into a Plasmatron low temperature gasifier, converted into syngas, and then burned in a SteamRay rotary engine which has been designed to run on combustion gases. The SteamRay can be sized to run a variety of loads including but not limited to electric generators, pumps and drive trains.

The filing of these patents is further confirmation as to the viability of the different technologies being developed by W2 Energy. The company feels that the filing of this patent assists in developing W2 Energy's position as a leader related to the production of green energy and energy recovery. W2 intends to market the product through its website and selected distributors.
