Nutrition 21 Named to Deloitte's Fast 500


PURCHASE, NY--(Marketwire - October 20, 2010) - Today, Nutrition 21, Inc. (OTCBB: NXXI) was named to Deloitte's 2010 "Technology Fast 500," an award given to 500 technology-based high growth companies.

Nutrition 21 was one of 64 companies awarded the Fast 500 from the Tri-State area, which includes all of Connecticut, New Jersey, New York City, upstate New York, Long Island, Rockland, and Westchester counties.
