Atlas Copco receives orders for drilling rigs in India

Stockholm, Sweden, October 21, 2010: Atlas Copco (India) Ltd.
Construction & Mining Technique has received orders for underground
drilling rigs from Leighton Contractors India Pvt. Ltd. and Navayuga
Engineering Company Limited, valued MEUR 11 (MSEK 100)

The equipment will be used to construct road tunnels for the
Srinagar-Jammu highway project in Jammu and Kashmir, India.

The National Highway Authority of India has awarded the highway project
to two of Atlas Copco's customers, Leighton Contractors India Pvt. Ltd.
part of Leighton Holdings - Australia's largest project development and
contracting group - and based out of Delhi, and Navayuga Engineering
Company Limited based out of Hyderabad.
The orders are booked in the third quarter, 2010. Delivery for Navayuga
Engineering Company Limited has started in September 2010 and for
Leighton Contractors India Pvt. Ltd. it is scheduled in December 2010.
