TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - November 9, 2010) - Sage North America today announced that the Sage Healthcare Division, a major provider of electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software serving approximately 80,000 physicians, will begin providing practice management and EHR solutions to several healthcare facilities which serve thousands of patients throughout the United States.
The healthcare facilities that selected a Sage Intergy solution to enhance practice management will help more than 150 providers improve patient care in Alabama, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska and Nevada. Sage Intergy and Sage Intergy EHR are comprehensive clinical, financial and administrative health information technology solutions that assist physicians in continuing to advance the quality and efficiency of care they deliver. The Sage Intergy family of products includes integrated practice management, electronic health records, clinical and business intelligence and tools for online patient engagement.
Sage Intergy and Sage Intergy EHR easily track the details of a patient's clinical history, share and manage clinical information and combine complex medical practice functions into easy-to-navigate menus. Sage Intergy features centralized financial operations including billing, reporting and task management; it fully integrates with EDI services, Sage Intergy Practice Portal, Sage Intergy RIS and Sage Practice Analytics.
The healthcare facilities to select a Sage Intergy product include:
- Children's Heart Center, a 16-physician practice based in Las Vegas, Nevada, providing medical care to children with heart disease. The practice is adding Sage Intergy EHR to its Sage practice management solution.
- Green Clinic is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 55 providers in 20 specialties in Rustin, Louisiana. Green Clinic is implementing Sage Intergy EHR.
- Nevada Imaging Center, a multi-location radiology center in Las Vegas, will implement Sage Intergy as its practice management solution.
- Saint Louis ConnectCare, which has more than 60 providers in St. Louis, Missouri, will migrate to Sage Intergy for its practice management needs.
- Nebraska Spine Center, of Omaha, Nebraska, provides spinal care, teaching and research services. It will implement Sage Intergy for its 10-physician practice.
- Oncology Specialties, which provides advanced cancer treatment facilities in northern Alabama, will implement Sage Intergy across four practices and will be used by more than 17 providers.
