QPR is the Ventana Research 2010 Leadership Award Winner with CNOOC SES's success on strategy implementation

QPR scores Ventana Award in the second year in a row

QPR IS THE VENTANA RESEARCH 2010 LEADERSHIP AWARD WINNER WITH CNOOC SES'S
SUCCESS ON STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION 

QPR Software has won the 2010 Overall Performance Management Leadership Award,
with the CNOOC SES Customer Case. The oil and gas company, recognized now as
the “2010 Leadership Award Leader” by Ventana Research, became a strategy
focused organization by using QPR ScoreCard performance management software for
communicating its strategy map and scorecards as well as for collaboration on
results. Software implementation was done by QPR's Indonesian Advanced Value
Added Reseller PT GML Performance Consulting, which acted as the consulting
facilitator in all phases of the CNOOC SES's strategy focused balanced
scorecard project. QPR was the only awarded European software vendor. 

The Ventana Research (USA) Leadership Awards recognize those organizations that
have most effectively achieved success through using people, processes,
information and technology and applying best practices within specific business
and technology categories. The Leadership Awards recognize pioneers and leaders
- organizations and individuals - that exemplify the understanding that the
successful management of their performance requires a clear vision,
understanding and determination, and a team effort. These awards are designed
to highlight exemplary individuals and organizations that have demonstrated
business leadership. Ventana Leadership Awards are awarded in several
categories, of which the Overall Performance Management Leadership Award was
now won for the second time in a row by QPR. 

CNOOC SES Ltd (www.cnoocses.com) is a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil
Corporation (CNOOC) and an oil and gas company operating in the off-shore of
Southeast Sumatra, Indonesia. To optimize its oil exploration processes, work
and environmental safety and - last but not least - to maintain good relations
to host nations CNOOC SES formulated a new strategic direction and decided to
implement a tool for communicating its strategic intents to all stakeholders.
Balanced Scorecard was chosen as the methodology framework and QPR's
performance management software QPR ScoreCard as the tool for communicating its
strategy map and scorecards as well as to enable employees to collaborate on
results.

In 2009 QPR's customer case of Bosch Siemens Häusegeräte Turkish subsidiary for
using QPR software for performance monitoring and measurement needs was
recognized with the Ventana 2009 Overall Performance Management Leadership
Award.
