TheBDevent Rebrands Itself the ExecEvent; Launches New Site to Connect Industry Executives and Facilitate Networking

Launches ExecLink Service for Quickly and Accurately Connecting Executives Based on Their Company's Products and Services

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - November 18, 2010) - TheBDevent, a highly successful networking and educational event for storage, virtualization and data center technology executives, announced today it has been renamed ExecEvent. Along with the rebranding, ExecEvent has launched a new website, www.theExecEvent.com. The site features ExecEvent's custom ExecLink Service (ELS), now available for use by event attendees.

"The ExecEvent name better expresses our events' mission -- to bring senior executives of technology companies, financial professionals, venture capitalists, press, analysts and consultants together to create and conduct business relationships," said Greg Duplessie, founder and CEO. "We deliver the ideal networking forum along with customized programs for the entire executive staff."

ELS is a unique, custom application for quickly and accurately connecting executives together based on their company's products and services as well as emerging areas of interests. ELS has been specifically designed for busy executives who wish to put a name and face together, along with specific technology or domain capabilities, then set up a meeting time during the event. The online portal is simple and intuitive and makes finding and meeting other attendees more than a random or a chance meeting in a hallway, optimizing an attendee's time.

"We believe this ExecLink Service solves a fundamental problem of going to networking events by ensuring you can find who you want to meet even before an event begins," said Duplessie. "There are no other technology trade shows or events that can put executives together in such a meaningful and fast way."

ELS will be available to registered attendees of the upcoming Palo Alto (January 25-27, 2011) event after the first of the New Year. In December 2010, a simplified demonstration version of the application will be available to visitors of the website.

Registration for the ExecEvent in Palo Alto is $975 per executive and more information about the agenda and program topics can be found at www.theExecEvent.com.
