Changes in Nurminen Logistics' top management
The Nurminen Logistics Plc's President and CEO Lasse Paitsola will leave his
current position by mutual agreement between the Board and CEO with immediate
effect. He has acted as the President and CEO since 2007. The company's current
CFO Antti Sallila (38) has been appointed as the acting CEO of Nurminen
Logistics. The process to select a new CEO has started.
"Nurminen Logistics was listed successfully in the Helsinki Stock Exchange
during Lasse Paitsola's period as the President and CEO. He has also developed
the company's businesses in an effective way. Company's structure and market
situation provide the company with good qualifications to move on to a new
development phase especially concerning company's businesses in the Russian
market. I want to thank Lasse Paitsola for the work he has done for the benefit
of the company", says Nurminen Logistics' long-standing Chairman of the Board
Juha Nurminen.
The long-standing Nurminen Logistics Plc's Chairman of the Board of Directors
and principal owner, Juha Nurminen (64), will leave his position as the Chairman
of the Nurminen Logistics Plc's Board, and will continue as a member of the
Board starting from 25 November 2010. The Board of Directors has decided to
elect from among its members LL.M. Olli Pohjanvirta (43) who has acted as a
member of the company's Board of Directors since 2006 as the new Chairman of the
Board.
