Rauxa's Joy Ride Program Supports U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots

Company Donation Brightens the Holidays for Kids in Need; Employees Encouraged to Give Throughout the Year


COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwire - December 9, 2010) - Rauxa, an innovative marketing agency headquartered in Orange County, Calif., today announced its participation in this year's U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program as part of the 2010 Rauxa Joy Ride initiative which enables and encourages employees to give of their time and talents to those in need. To date, the company has donated 200 remote-controlled MINI Coopers® to Toys for Tots in honor and on behalf of its clients.

As part of its Joy Ride program, Rauxa selects worthy charities to support throughout the year, with a particular focus on programs to benefit local communities. In addition to serving these nonprofit organizations at a corporate level, Rauxa encourages its employees to take as many as two paid "volunteer days" to support the charity or charities of their choice.

Along with its Toys for Tots commitment, Rauxa's Costa Mesa office has made donations to the Orange County Arthritis Walk which benefits the Arthritis Foundation's research for treatments and programs for children and adults with arthritis; Interval House which provides safe shelter and responsive services to abused women and children; Project Cuddle® which provides pregnant women and teens viable alternatives to abandoning their infants; and the American Red Cross which provides relief to disaster victims and emergency preparedness training.

Rauxa's San Francisco office participates in Project Open Hand, providing "meals with love" to people living with HIV/AIDS, the homebound and critically ill, and to seniors in San Francisco and Alameda County. The company's Manhattan office supports New York Cares which mobilizes caring New Yorkers in volunteer service throughout the city, and Forestdale Foster Home which offers safe haven to foster children who are often victims of abuse and neglect.
