14 December 2010 - V & M TWO, LLC, of Youngstown, Ohio has awarded Aker Construction, Inc., a subsidiary of Aker Solutions, a contract for the construction of a pipe mill process building in Ohio, US. The contract for fabrication, supply and installation of materials to erect the building commences immediately. Contract value is undisclosed.

The project is located adjacent to the V & M Star L.P.'s operations in Youngstown, Ohio. V&M officially broke ground on the new mill in late July, and plans for the new mill to be operational within approximately 18 months.
V & M Star is a leading producer of seamless tubular products mainly dedicated to oil and gas applications. Its operations are based at three sites: Houston, Texas; Muskogee, Oklahoma and the Youngstown facility.
Aker Solutions' contract party is Aker Construction, Inc.
