Gale Delivers Third Consecutive Quarter of Record Sales

Substantial Growth and Market Penetration Entrenches Leadership Position in Private Cloud Computing Software

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - December 16, 2010) - Gale Technologies, a leading provider of innovative software solutions that power IT as a Service for the lab, data center and cloud, today announced it has posted a record third quarter in software sales for 2010. This also represents the company's third consecutive quarter of unprecedented sales growth. The company's flagship product, GaleForce, continues to be a growth catalyst. GaleForce is an advanced resource automation and cloud orchestration platform that simplifies the process of managing and provisioning both physical and virtual environments.

In addition to reporting its highest quarter of sales to date, Gale has received multiple technology awards from respected industry experts, added key members to its executive management team, and expanded its corporate headquarters. All elements point to Gale's continued success in the IT automation market.

"At Gale, our vision is clear: Deliver the market's broadest and most extensible platform for private, public, and hybrid cloud computing. GaleForce alleviates many unique customer challenges, including issues encountered when making the difficult transition to virtualization and cloud computing infrastructures," said Nariman Teymourian, CEO of Gale Technologies. "Our strong and consistent quarter-over-quarter revenue growth and market penetration underscore our ability to deliver relevant and innovative IT automation software to the marketplace."

Core to today's announcement is the expansion of Gale's executive management team to include leaders from Cisco, CA, HP, Oracle, Sun, and VMware. Bijan Hafezi has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Akhil Sahai as Vice President of Product Management, and Garima Thockchom as Vice President of Marketing.

The executives bring a combined 60 years of experience to Gale from a range of leading technology innovators. Hafezi will manage the company's sales strategy and operations, and will be responsible for direct and channel revenue growth. Sahai, who holds responsibility for the strategic direction and execution of Gale's expansive product line, has filed more than 20 U.S. patents and holds six in the area of Web and cloud computing. And Thockchom logs more than 17 years experience with data center products and will steer the company's strategic messaging and go-to-market initiatives.

Additionally, Gale is announcing a key appointment in India, as Abhay Sinha takes on the role as new Managing Director of subsidiary Gale Networks. Sinha comes to Gale from Cable and Wireless and was formerly Chief Technology Officer for Deutsche Bank, South Asia.

Continued Nariman Teymourian: "With more than six decades of quality experience, our new executives represent significant enhancements to our management team. Their broad-based expertise and market savvy will immediately help us realize our next level of growth."

Taking this momentum one step further, Gale reported further expansion of its headquarters. The company's office space in Santa Clara will now expand three times in size, housed in the prestigious Mission City Center, overlooking Silicon Valley.
