Dorman Releases More Formerly "Dealer Only" Parts to the Aftermarket

COLMAR, PA--(Marketwire - December 23, 2010) - Dorman Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: DORM), has just released over 120 new products this month, featuring over 50 Formerly "Dealer Only" parts that were previously unavailable in the Aftermarket. These are the latest of over 2,000 new products introduced in 2010. Instead of going to the Dealer, professional Technicians and vehicle owners can now source items such as Diesel Valve Cover Gaskets, Intercooler Hoses and Steering Rack Bushings from their Aftermarket parts supplier.

Dorman Steering Rack Bushings reduce repair cost by allowing just the failed bushings to be replaced instead of the entire Steering Rack Assembly. In addition, these bushings feature a two piece design, eliminating the need to remove the Steering Rack and allowing for easy installation.

Valve Cover Gaskets on diesel engines commonly fail due to excessive heat and electrical failure. The newest addition to our diesel offering is a Valve Cover Gasket Kit for Dodge Trucks with 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins engines. The kit features integrated electrical connectors for the Fuel Injectors and Glow Plugs and includes Pigtails for a complete repair.
