Green Room Public Relations Experiences Growth, Expands PR Team

Dina Biscione Joins as Manager, Monitoring Research & Analytics; Elaine Andrecovich Named Senior PR Associate

BOONTON, NJ--(Marketwire - January 4, 2011) - Green Room Public Relations announces two strategic new hires that broaden the agency's areas of expertise and customize the team to meet growing client needs. Elaine Andrecovich will serve as Senior PR Associate and Dina Biscione will take on the role of Manager, Monitoring Research & Analytics.

"We continue to see an increase in interest in Green Room PR's unique business model and have selected these strategic hires to meet the specific needs of our clients," said Karen Carolonza, a partner at Green Room PR who oversees strategy. "Dina and Elaine are consummate PR professionals who solidify our ability to seamlessly execute creative and impactful communications programs."

Dina brings more than 22 years in public relations experience to Green Room PR, including 10 years of internal and corporate communications experience at major pharmaceutical companies. Most recently, Dina served as Executive Administrative Assistant, Global Sales and Marketing at Alpharma Animal Health. Previously, she held roles in the communications departments at Novartis and Pfizer. Dina's key responsibility at Green Room PR will be to support development and implementation of novel organizational resources and standard operating procedures including innovative, cost-effective media monitoring and measurement systems.

Elaine, who joins Green Room PR from MCS Healthcare Public Relations, brings more than three years of pharmaceutical public relations experience to the position. She will provide strategic counsel and support in managing daily activities for key accounts. At MCS, Elaine facilitated multiple grassroots media campaigns to promote education and symptom recognition for stroke and rare diseases including von Willebrand disease, coordinated patient/physician roundtables on behalf of Merck/Schering-Plough in Europe, and helped leverage positive data to key medical, trade, and consumer publications. She has experience in multiple therapeutic areas, including women's health, neurology, and immunology, and holds a B.A. in Journalism and Media Studies from Rutgers University.

"I'm excited for this new opportunity at Green Room PR," said Elaine. "I look forward to collaborating with the team on strategic campaigns and projects that move the needle for our clients and bring attention to their key products."
