EVERETT, WA--(Marketwire - January 5, 2011) -  Zumiez Inc. (NASDAQ: ZUMZ), a leading specialty retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, today announced that total net sales for the five-week period ended January 1, 2011 increased 14.1% to $88.5 million, compared to $77.6 million for the five-week period ended January 2, 2010. The Company's comparable store sales increased 9.2% for the five-week period, versus a comparable store sales increase of 0.3% in the year ago period.
