BuckleySandler Elects Four New Partners & Promotes Three Attorneys to Counsel

The firm has also promoted three associates to the position of counsel.

New partners:

Elizabeth E. McGinn represents financial institutions in investigations, examinations and litigation initiated by federal and state regulatory and enforcement agencies. Ms. McGinn received her J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law in 2000 (cum laude), where she was Senior Articles Editor for The American University's International Law Review and received the Mooers Trial Practice Award.

Andrea K. Mitchell counsels financial services companies on regulatory compliance and enforcement matters involving consumer compliance, fair lending and safety and soundness issues. Ms. Mitchell received her J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law in 2002 (summa cum laude), where she was a Note and Comment Editor for The American University Law Review.

Robyn C. Quattrone represents corporate and individual clients in enforcement matters and regulatory inquiries, complex civil and white collar criminal litigation matters, administrative proceedings, and investigations by federal and state authorities. Ms. Quattrone received her J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 1998.

Benjamin P. Saul represents clients in administrative enforcement and criminal matters, private civil and class action litigation and, commonly, in parallel proceedings involving private litigants and federal and state enforcement authorities. Mr. Saul received his J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law in 2002 (magna cum laude), where he was a Karl Scholar, Mussey-Gillett Fellow, Editor of The American University Law Review and President of the Moot Court Board.

New associates elected to counsel:

Caitlin M. Kasmar represents financial services industry clients in a wide range of litigation matters, including class actions, internal investigations, and government enforcement actions, and has litigated cases arising under the Fair Housing Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Civil Rights Act and unfair and deceptive trade practices statutes. Ms. Kasmar received her J.D. in 2004 from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was a member of the University of Chicago Law Review.

Melissa Klimkiewicz represents financial services industry clients with respect to federal and state regulatory and compliance matters, as well as in private litigation. Ms. Klimkiewicz received a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, with honors, where she was an Articles Editor for The George Washington Law Review.

Andrew R. Louis represents consumer financial services clients in litigation, regulatory and compliance matters concerning federal and state laws relating to consumer and commercial financial services. Mr. Louis received a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2001 (Order of the Coif; magna cum laude).
