Graphit Kropfmühl AG: 2010 turnover targets clearly exceeded

Kropfmühl, Germany, 11 January 2011 --- For the first time in its corporate
history Graphit Kropfmühl AG (DEUTSCHE BOERSE: 'GKR') reached a turnover of
EUR 97.1 million, which means that turnover  expectations for 2010 were
clearly exceeded. Compared to the previous year turnover increased by 15.3
%.

We also expect increasing turnover and earnings figures in 2011, provided
that there are no economic setbacks.

The financial statements for 2010 will be published on 16 March 2011.

On 22 December 2010 AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V., Amsterdam,
announced that they had increased their indirect shareholding by 8.5 % to
88 %.
