Changfeng Engages KPMG LLP as Independent Auditor

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 14, 2011) - Changfeng Energy Inc. ("Changfeng") (TSX VENTURE:CFY), a natural gas utility operating in China, today announced that it has engaged KPMG LLP as the Company's independent auditor. KPMG LLP will begin by conducting the audit of the Company's accounts for the financial year ended December 31, 2010. The appointment of KPMG is subject to the approval of the Company's shareholders at its next annual general meeting.

The selection of KMPG LLP concludes a thorough process which the Company conducted as part of its effort to find an auditor with the optimal skills to match its needs. The change of independent auditor does not result from any disagreement between the Company and its former auditor, McGovern, Hurley, Cunningham, LLP. The Board of Directors expresses its gratitude to McGovern, Hurley, Cunningham, LLP for the professional services provided during their term as auditors of Changfeng.
