VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 19, 2011) - Zincore Metals Inc. (TSX:ZNC)(BVLAC:ZNC) ("Zincore" or the "Company") is pleased to report that it has commenced an in-fill drilling program at its Yanque project, part of the Company's Accha Zinc Oxide District in southern Peru.

Zincore President and CEO, Jorge Benavides, commented, "Beginning the Yanque in-fill drilling program is a very important step in our march towards achieving pre-feasibility for the Accha Zinc Oxide District. We had tremendous success with a similar in-fill drilling program at our Accha project, located 30 kilometres to the north. We hope to gain similar information about Yanque and use this intelligence to develop a mine plan where a single facility could process zinc ores from both Yanque and Accha, as well as nine other District prospects. Being able to selectively mine the higher grades of ore from both Accha and Yanque would significantly enhance the economics of the Accha Zinc Oxide District project."

The Yanque drill program will comprise approximately 10,000 metres and is intended to upgrade known Inferred Resources to Indicated. It is also expected that the drilling will better define the high grade portions of the Yanque ore body so that it may be selectively mined. After the drill program is completed, a new model of the deposit will be generated and a new 43-101 Technical Report will be issued.

*For more information about our recent Accha in-drill program, please see our news releases from 2010 dated December 7th, November 4th, October 6th and September 15th.
