Cisco Expands Talent-Development Efforts in Brazil

Introduction of 360 Learning Program and Authorized Cisco Training Support IT Talent Development Across Region


SAO PAULO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - January 26, 2011) - Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) today announced initiatives designed to increase Latin America's capacity to train, employ and retain highly qualified networking and systems engineers. In Brazil, authorized Cisco® Learning Partners, including Multirede, Promon Logicalis, Fast Lane and others, will offer a complete range of Cisco training and certification preparation courses to students and professionals in nine training centers across the country.

Cisco's commitment to talent development across Latin America, with its authorized learning partners, aims to support the economic growth of the region. Every major technology trend, including mobility, virtualization, cloud computing and video are reliant on a highly secure, resilient network that is prepared to deliver these services. Cisco intends to meet this growth demand by helping prepare qualified individuals with the skills and experience to build, troubleshoot and repair these types of networks and infrastructures by supporting authorized Cisco Learning Partners and by opening professional training facilities.

In addition, Cisco today announced the availability of the Cisco 360 Learning Program for CCIE® Routing and Switching in Latin America.
