EWS Completes Acquisition of Ellsin

AJAX, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 27, 2011) - Environmental Waste International Inc. (EWS) (TSX VENTURE:EWS) announced that it has completed its acquisition of Ellsin Environmental Ltd (Ellsin). EWS issued 2,263,500 of its common shares and now owns 100% of Ellsin. The acquisition has received approval from all regulatory and government entities involved in the TR900 project in Sault Ste. Marie (SSM). All non- EWS directors and officers have resigned their positions in Ellsin. The acquisition gives EWS complete ownership of the TR900 project in SSM and returns the sales and marketing rights to EWS for the Tire Reduction systems in Canada and the United States.

As a result of EWS's recent $1,750,000 private placement and the completion of the Ellsin acquisition, EWS can now focus on completing the installation and commissioning of the TR900 pilot plant. The TR900 system will showcase the EWS patented Reverse Polymerization™ Process as well as numerous advancements and innovations over earlier EWS systems. The TR900 is designed to break down 900 tires per day into carbon black, oil and steel. The system is also designed to use the off-gases from the process as a fuel source to generate the electricity required to run the TR900 system. All components manufactured and contracted by EWS are complete and on-site. EWS is awaiting delivery of the gas engine from its manufacturer in the USA so that the installation can be completed and testing of the TR900 system can begin.

EWS has also designed processors for the environmentally safe sterilization and disposal of medical, biological, liquid and food waste and for the recovery of usable byproducts from other organic sources. EWS continues to explore other applications for its technology. Please visit EWS's home page on the Internet at: www.ewmc.com.
