Amika Mobile CEO Dr. Suhayya (Sue) Abu-Hakima was invested into the Order of Ontario at a ceremony in Queen's Park on January 27th. The Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, invested 30 new appointees to the Order of Ontario – the province's highest official honour.

The citation read at the ceremony by the Secretary General to the Order of Ontario and the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration Chisanga Puta-Chekwe:
