Retail segment of GERRY WEBER reports new records for Q1

Retail segment of GERRY WEBER reports new records for Q1

The Retail segment of GERRY WEBER International AG generated sales revenues
of EUR 51.8 million (net) in the first quarter (November 2010 to January
2011) of the fiscal year. This represents an increase of 25.2% on the
previous year.

In Germany, like-for-like sales rose by 19.7% and like-for-like sales for
January only rose by even 20.6 %.

The mono-label stores of the TAIFUN and SAMOON by GERRY WEBER brands once
again showed a very positive performance, boosting their domestic
like-for-like sales by 32.7% and 15.9%, respectively.

'The sales trend shows that we are pursuing the right strategy,' said
Managing Director Ralf Weber. 'In the current fiscal year, we intend to
open between 65 and 70 own stores in Germany and abroad.'
