Intrinsyc to Showcase Innovative Mobile Device Development and Application Solutions at Mobile World Congress

Company Targets Consumer, Automotive, and M2M Markets

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 8, 2011) - Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. (TSX:ICS), a leading global supplier of development solutions and applications for the mobile consumer electronics and embedded device industry, today announced it will demonstrate the company's latest hardware and software solutions at a meeting suite at the 2011 Mobile World Congress.

In the past year many leading OEMS, wireless and silicon technology companies have engaged Intrinsyc to provide Android development services and license Intrinsyc's telephony and device management solutions. Intrinsyc has strong experience in development of e-readers and media tablets, including the award winning nook and nook color devices from Barnes and Noble.

Intrinsyc recently announced software and services support for the next-generation consumer mobile reference platform from Freescale, an agreement with Qualcomm to develop and sell the iQ Development Kit™ supporting Qualcomm's "Internet of Everything" module, and joined the QNX™ partner network, the automotive infotainment alliance program, GENIVI, and the open source organization, the Linux Foundation.

"Intrinsyc will showcase our latest solutions for mobile device development and wireless connectivity," said Alkarim Kassam, vice president engineering. "Intrinsyc has a strong track record in developing high quality consumer mobile devices and is expanding partnerships and innovative solutions for the automotive and the machine-to-machine (M2M) vertical markets."

The company will showcase its innovative turn-by-turn navigation solution, Destinator®, on personal navigation devices and handsets. Available in 26 languages, Destinator offers a wide range of features, a rich look and feel, plus cutting-edge functionality in routing and direction finding. It is highly flexible – with available user interface customization and ability to include 3-D mapping of buildings in major cities. All of this is underpinned by a powerful, market-leading routing engine – the driving force behind the best navigation experience. Destinator supports Symbian, Windows, Android, and iPhone devices and is sold globally through leading OEMS, resellers and application stores.

The iQ Development Kit from Intrinsyc is a flexible and complete platform for hardware and software development, evaluation and test. Utilizing QUALCOMM's compact and powerful Internet of Everything Modules (IEM), the iQ Development Kit comprises a base board, a wireless module, the BREW software development environment, documentation and all of the accessories required for immediate development.

Intrinsyc will also demonstrate UX-Zone™ software supporting femtocell deployments. UX-Zone software is the wireless industry's first solution for automatically detecting femtocells and putting relevant applications and services at your fingertips. UX-Zone provides location and event driven themes and automatically switches UI themes when in the presence of a femtocell.
