Law Enforcement Associates to Exhibit at Border Security Conference

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - February 10, 2011) -  Law Enforcement Associates Corporation (LEA) (OTCBB: LAWE), a leading U.S.-based developer and manufacturer of electronic surveillance equipment, today announced it will exhibit at the Fifth Annual Border Security Expo on February 15 and 16 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The Company also will participate in an "industry day" being sponsored by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on February 17, also in Phoenix.

The Border Security Expo draws an international audience of buyers and sellers of advanced security and surveillance products. Last year's conference attracted more than 800 government and industry representatives. The subsequent industry day will be devoted to companies interested in working with the CBP to undertake a broad new U.S. border technology strategy.

LEA will exhibit a variety of new and legacy products at the Border Security Expo, including its new Live Link mobile video surveillance system, which now features a thermal camera option; the Under Vehicle Inspection System (UVIS); and the recently launched Scorpion Blue Tooth video recorder. The Company also will present demonstration models of the new FLIR H-Series Bi-Ocular Handheld Thermal Imager.

Paul Briggs, president and CEO of LEA, said, "The array of surveillance products we have introduced recently has created an opportunity for LEA to help address some of the critical technology needs faced by international border security agencies. Border security represents an important potential market for LEA, and we look forward to elevating our profile within this large, untapped customer base.
