Klayman joins Actiance after more than ten years of sales, business development and operations experience in the Federal sector. Most recently, Klayman was the director of business development at Ultra Electronics-Criticom, focused on US government agencies, including the departments of Homeland Security and Defense, and Intelligence Agencies.

Actiance helps private and public sector clients by effectively monitoring, tracking and archiving content conveyed through social or real-time communications channels. Federal agencies, such as the Department of Defense, are increasingly relying on compliance-based policies and procedures to protect against disclosures through social media outlets like Facebook, which can potentially compromise national security interests. 

Due to the rapid adoption of unified communications and social platforms throughout the federal government, agencies are seeking to expand the use of technology solutions that will protect against unauthorized leaks from social media sites. A key part of Klayman's focus will be leading the testing, validation and certification of the Actiance platform, and helping public officials develop Web 2.0 solutions that ensure compliance to all applicable regulations, directives and statutes.
