Cybercom connects leading vehicle manufacturer

Cybercom has been assigned to develop an infotainment solution for one
of the world's leading vehicle manufacturers. The deal concerns several
development projects for new vehicle models in the coming years.

“This is a very important deal for us and confirms that Cybercom is at
the very forefront of infotainment solutions for the automotive
industry,” says Patrik Boman, CEO of Cybercom Group.

The deal is expected to generate sales of about SEK 10 million. The
client, a leading vehicle manufacturer, made it clear during the
procurement process that this is a long-term commitment that is expected
to extend over the next few years. It comprises several development
projects for new models in the automaker's model range.

“When the customer chose us, they specifically pointed out our
specialised expertise within infotainment and our understanding of the
project's complexity,” says Gustav Lundberg, project manager at
Cybercom.

Cybercom will manage and be responsible for development of functions and
user interfaces for the infotainment solution for the vehicle maker's
different models.

“For drivers, vehicles are becoming more of an online service platform
with access to various applications,” says Patrik Björler, key account
manager at Cybercom Sweden. “So our ability to develop apps for
different software platforms will come in handy on this assignment.”
