Celebrity Mom Angie Harmon Helps Parents Get Kids to Love Their Veggies

Harmon Kicks Off Search for Ultimate Kid-Friendly Vegetable and Shares Fun and Creative Ways to Develop a Life-long Love of Vegetables

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 17, 2011) - As a mother of three young daughters, actress Angie Harmon knows how hard it can be to ensure kids are eating and enjoying their vegetables.

And she's not alone.

Updated nutrition guidelines from the Department of Agriculture and Health and Human Services, and programs such as the White House's Let's Move! Salad Bar program and the Hunger-Free Kids Act are keeping the issue top of mind for moms everywhere. Now, Angie has joined forces with Hidden Valley's Love Your Veggies™ program to launch the Great Veggie Adventure, a search for an exotic, obscure or unknown veggie that kids just might love.
