More than 5,000 Canadians created family scrapbooks and shared their incredible stories. Ten deserving families were chosen by a panel of judges and will have the opportunity to create their dream family reunion valued up to $25,000.

Twenty-one years ago, Dean Botchar and Carol Morgan met, and later married, which resulted in a blended family of seven children. They currently have 15 grandchildren ranging from one to 25 years old. With the family spread across Canada, in Vancouver, Thunder Bay, Ottawa, Toronto and St. Catharine's, the Botchar Morgan family has never been together all at once and most of their grandchildren have never met. As Dean and Carol get older, their only wish is to bring the family together all at once, and Shaw's Amazing Family reunion will help make this dream a reality.
