Southern California Venture Network Announces Changes for 2011

Business Networking Group Reveals Change of Venue, Plans for Growth Throughout Southern California


IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - February 22, 2011) -  The Southern California Venture Network (SCVN.org), an exclusive high-end business networking group, has announced growth plans and strategic changes for 2011, including a new meeting time and location. This month's mixer will be held on February 22, at Prego Ristoranti in Irvine, Calif. Beginning in March and in April, Southern California professionals will meet for the SCVN general mixer on the last Tuesday of each month from 5:45 to 8 p.m. at Club 8 Eighty 8 in Newport Beach, Calif.

"As a premier club in Southern California, we continue to focus on increasing opportunities for start-up and emerging growth companies," says Eric Tanezaki, Executive Director of the Southern California Venture Network. "This year, we hope to see a rise in skilled professionals who come to our events eager to learn as they work to build successful companies."

A "venture development" organization, SCVN focuses on supporting companies and business leaders in reaching goals through events and its extensive network of business associates. SCVN is dedicated to helping emerging businesses reach their full potential in the most efficient manner possible. The group currently has chapters in Orange County and Los Angeles, Calif. and is becoming one of the premier groups in Southern California.

The February SCVN general mixer will be held at Prego Ristoranti, 18420 Von Karman Ave., Irvine, Calif., from 5:45 to 8 p.m. March and April's mixers will be hosted on the last Tuesday of each respective month from 5:45 to 8 p.m. at Club 8 Eighty 8, 4647 McArthur Blvd. in Newport Beach, Calif.
