IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - March 3, 2011) - Paciolan, a leading provider of ticketing, marketing and fundraising solutions in live entertainment, announced today that Auburn University and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston were the recipients of the prestigious Innovator of the Year Awards at the annual PACnet 2011 community conference. Louisiana State University also earned the Star of the Year Award for their outstanding results in the areas of ticketing, marketing, and fundraising.

"We are proud to honor Auburn University, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Louisiana State University with these prestigious awards for their ability to innovate, challenge, and inspire us with their exceptional programs," said Jane Kleinberger, founder of Paciolan.

Auburn University captured the Innovator of the Year Award by achieving over a 70 percent online adoption rate for premium seating donations for their major sports, the highest in college athletics. Auburn's innovative program enabled season ticket holders to pay their premium seating donations online with an easy-to-use re-pledge, upgrade and pledge payment tool. Auburn also deployed a 100 percent paperless season renewal and post-season request process for their major sports including football, basketball and baseball.

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston was honored as the Innovator of the Year for the general admissions market by offering an onsite sales team who leveraged a customized iPad application to sell memberships. Over 45 percent of the 3,500 memberships sold onsite came through the mobile iPad sales channel, representing a significant, incremental lift in sales. Additionally, the revenue generated for each transaction via the iPad sales exceeded the traditional channels by over 10 percent.

Louisiana State University (LSU) earned the coveted Star of the Year Award for their overall excellence with their integrated online ticket sales, fundraising, and marketing programs. LSU sold over 50 percent of their public season ticket renewals online, and also sold and delivered 100 percent of their student tickets digitally. What's more, LSU offers one of the nation's leading student ticketing programs including an attendance-based rewards program and the ability to resell unused student tickets. LSU also launched their innovative LSU Connect social media strategy which amassed over 600,000 Facebook friends across all their athletics' Facebook pages.

"We're thrilled to see such exciting innovation and impressive results within the client community this year," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. "These are great examples of organizations embracing the power of venue enablement and leveraging the Paciolan ticketing, marketing and fundraising solutions to better serve their customers and donors."
