BOULDER, CO--(Marketwire - March 3, 2011) - Berg Hill Greenleaf & Ruscitti LLP (BHGR), Boulder County's largest local law firm, has announced that attorney Patrick K. Perrin has joined the firm as a partner.
Mr. Perrin's practice focuses on intellectual property protection and related business transactions. With more than 20 years of Colorado experience, he has represented startups, emerging companies, and established public companies, including software and hardware developers, service providers, vendors, resellers, and manufacturers. Mr. Perrin's expertise in handling mergers and acquisitions, financing, and real estate transactions will complement BHGR's corporate law group.
Prior to joining BHGR, Mr. Perrin served as a partner with the international law firm of Hogan Lovells from 1999 to 2010. He helped found the Boulder office of the Washington, D.C.-based firm.

Mr. Perrin earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he graduated first in his class. He clerked for the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals then started his private practice career in the Boulder office of Holme Roberts & Owen as an associate from 1991 to 1997, and was a partner from 1997 to 1999. He originally moved to Colorado to attend law school and to pursue his outdoor interests. Mr. Perrin is a former professional tennis player.
