PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - March 8, 2011) - The Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology (ABI) announced today that in celebration of International Women's Day, Google is making it easy for people all over the world to support the Anita Borg Institute's work to increase the recruitment, retention and advancement of technical women. Google's International Women's Day website offers the opportunity to donate to ABI via Google Checkout. The campaign highlights over 40 women's organizations around the world working in the fields of women's economic security, education, empowerment, equality, health and safety. Each year on March 8th, thousands of events are held throughout the world to celebrate International Women's day. These events inspire women and celebrate their achievements.
