Strategic Environmental & Energy Resources Announces the Appointment of New Executive Vice President

COMMERCE CITY, CO--(Marketwire - March 10, 2011) - Strategic Environmental & Energy Resources, Inc. (SEER) (PINKSHEETS: SENR), a provider of vapor and emission control products, as well as technology-based industrial services in the environmental, oil & gas, renewable energy, and rail transportation sectors, announced today that it has appointed John Jenkins to serve as the company's new Executive Vice President. Mr. Jenkins will also join the Board of Directors of SEER where he will lead the formation of an Audit Committee.

Mr. Jenkins has a strong background of leadership experience in small public companies addressing high growth opportunities in technology markets. As CEO of San Holdings and TAVA Technologies he led the organizations through dramatic increase in top line revenues and improvement in bottom line performance. In both cases, acquisitions were complementary to organic growth. At TAVA, in 5 years, its public market capitalization increased from approximately $3M to a sale in a cash transaction for nearly $200M.

His career includes significant international experience with both Morgan Crucible Plc. and Coors Ceramics where he began his career. He holds a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver.

John Combs, CEO of SEER, said, "The appointment of Mr. Jenkins is the first of several steps planned by SEER to enhance and broaden its executive management team and invest in expanded corporate governance."
