Cisco Improves Customer Service at SeABank in Vietnam

HANOI, VIETNAM--(Marketwire - March 10, 2011) - Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) today announced the implementation of Cisco® technologies and solutions in retail banking at SeABank, one of Vietnam's premier banks, to allow a range of complex, mission-critical information to flow within the bank and to its clients with anytime, anywhere access while maximizing resources and increasing business agility.

Founded in 1994, SeABank is one of the first Vietnamese commercial joint stock banks and has 1,500 employees at over 100 transaction points all over Vietnam, serving more than 104,000 individual clients. Continued growth of the business and an expansion of the bank's systems resulted in a need for effective communication within SeABank and with clients while upgrading to modern retail banking services.

To support the concurrent services and multiservice connections, SeABank installed the Cisco 2800 Series routers, Cisco Catalyst® 2960-S fixed-configuration access switches and Cisco Unified Contact Center Express, designed to support a highly available virtual contact center with integrated self-service applications across multiple sites, secured with Cisco security solutions. In March 2009, SeABank constructed a data center to cater to its virtualized collaborative workspace as it expand its services and grow its business in Vietnam.
