Longtime Dallas Banker at North Dallas Bank to Retire


DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - March 16, 2011) - North Dallas Bank (OTCBB: NODB) Vice Chairman Larry M. Nobles is set to retire at the end of this month.

A Llano, Texas native, Nobles attended the University of Texas, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Accounting. Nobles started his banking career in a management training program at the First National Bank of Dallas in 1963. Later, he would be named president of Republic Bank Greenville Avenue in Dallas.

Nobles left Republic Bank for North Dallas Bank in 1987. "North Dallas Bank was a local independent bank with a great reputation," said Nobles. "I wanted to come to a bank that had local ownership and a long-term plan to grow in and around the Dallas area. It is the best bank in Dallas and the best job I ever had."

Mr. Nobles will continue to be on the board of directors for North Dallas Bank.
