20-Year Software Veteran to Focus on New Technologies and Lead Expanded Product and Platform Design Innovation Initiatives

RALEIGH, NC and WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - Peopleclick Authoria, currently serving nearly 60 percent of the Fortune 100 with best-of-breed suite solutions for Talent Management, Vendor Management and Workforce Compliance and Diversity, today announced the appointment of Ronnie Thomson as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Thomson will be responsible for managing worldwide software development and engineering, technology operations and the product roadmap for the Company's Talent Management solutions.

"As we continue to build out our Talent Management best-of-suite vision, we are very pleased to have someone with Ronnie's deep engineering and technology expertise to lead our most essential corporate initiatives around product vision, innovation, development and market execution," said Charles S. Jones, Chairman and CEO of Peopleclick Authoria. "His proven leadership in building and managing global development teams, his product and platform design track record in the HCM arena and his customer-focused dedication to product quality will be considerable assets as we focus on market-driven innovation initiatives. Ronnie will also be a valuable contributor on my senior management team as we further enable mobile, social and collaborative capabilities across the integrated Talent Management suite through both enhancement and expansion initiatives."

Mr. Thomson has spent more than half his career in the Human Capital Management sector. For nearly a decade, he served as Vice President of Engineering for Centra Software (acquired by Saba), which delivered online classroom, collaboration and web conferencing solutions for the learning management space. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President for Quark, Inc., where he managed a portfolio of fifteen different products across four global product development centers, implementing a single-suite schedule, launching a new SaaS offering and developing a cloud-based product strategy for new product launches. In addition to Quark and Centra Software, Thomson was the director of Research and Development at Avaya Communications, and held engineering and architecture roles for Cadre Technologies.

Commenting on his new role, Ronnie Thomson said, "This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining the team at Peopleclick Authoria. With the breadth of their talent management offering and market momentum, the dramatically expanded workforce analytics and modeling capabilities delivered with yesterday's acquisition of Aquire and a continued strategy to expand the functionality of the suite, this company has emerged as a formidable competitor for leadership in this market."

Mr. Thomson will report to Mr. Jones and will be based in the Waltham, Mass. office. He holds both a B.S. and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
