Redhill Resources Corp.: Geochemical Sampling Program Completed at Gascoyne Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - Redhill Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:RHR) ("Redhill" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that a geochemical soil sampling program has been completed over the MCarthys Project and a trap stream sampling program has been completed at the Bangemall Cobra Project.

At the McCarthy Project, a total of 150 soils samples were collected over the entire lease on a 200m by 50m grid pattern. Soils were sieved through a 150mm sieve with - 80 micron mesh and collected into sample bags. The samples will be analyzed by Genalysis Laboratory PTY Ltd. in Perth for gold, copper, lead, zinc, nickel and arsenic.

At the Bangemall Cobra Project, a total of 62 trap site stream sediment samples were collected over optimal sample sites where creeks have actively eroded into the Proterozoic bedrock. Each sample size weighed approximately six kilograms of minus 3/16 of an inch size. The samples have been transported to Genalysis Laboratory PTY Ltd. in Perth to be analyzed for low level gold (10ppb detection), copper, lead, zinc, nickel and arsenic.

This program's results are expected in the second quarter of 2011. Analysis of this data will identify drilling targets for the next phase of exploration planned for this spring.
