TIIMARI GROUP'S NET SALES IN MARCH 2011(preliminary)
Easter is the second largest Tiimari season and due to the transition both March and first quarter sales figures are not comparable with the previous year. Due to the Easter transition March sales figures are not comparable with the previous year. Tiimari group sales in March was EUR 4.9 million (EUR 6.7 million) or approximately 27% lower than last year. Sales in Finland were down 34% from the previous year. Gallerix chain's sales in Sweden grew by 7% in local currency, in EUR terms the growth was 9%.
Tiimari Group's three-month cumulative sales stood at EUR 13.5 million which is EUR 2.7 million and 17% lower than during the first quarter year ago. Cumulative sales number in Finland was 21% lower. Gallerix Chain’s cumulative sales in Sweden increased 1% in local currency and in EUR terms the growth was 5%.
