Sage Healthcare Division and Northern Illinois Physicians for Connectivity Partner to Serve Physicians' EHR Needs

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - Apr 15, 2011) - Sage Healthcare Division announced today that it has been named a preferred partner of the Northern Illinois Physicians for Connectivity (NIPFC). Serving more than 400,000 healthcare professionals including 80,000 physicians in North America, Sage will make its ONC-ATCB certified Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition available to physicians partnering with NIPFC for their electronic health record (EHR) needs.

NIPFC's program is a new initiative designed to help physicians navigate the maze of health information technology offerings on the market as physicians strive to meet federal reform and meaningful use requirements. According to NIPFC, the organization is committed to developing tools and educational opportunities that will help physicians identify health information technology strategies as they consider EHR solutions for their practices.

Providers can access Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition from multiple remote locations either through a central patient database server or as a Sage-hosted solution on a monthly subscription basis.

Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition features centralized financial operations including billing, reporting and task management, and fully integrates with Sage Intergy Practice Portal, Sage Intergy RIS and Sage Practice Analytics.
