iQ Power Doubles Revenues in 1st Quarter 2011

  - 1st quarter 2011 sales: EUR 3.6 million (Q1 2010: EUR 1.6 million) 

  - All major clients want to continue selling ECO batteries in 2011

Zug/Switzerland, 15 April 2011 - iQ Power AG (ISIN: CH0020609688, WKN:
A0DQVL, Symbol: IQPB), the developer and marketer of eco-friendly and
technologically advanced starter batteries for motor vehicles, today
announced a successful 1st quarter 2011.

Based on preliminary figures, iQ Power AG generated sales revenues of EUR
3.6 million during these first three months of the 2011 year. This
represents an increase of EUR 2 million, or more than 120 percent, compared
to the same quarter a year ago (Q1 2010 revenues: EUR 1.6 million). This
means that sales revenues increased for the third quarter in a row over the
respective prior-year quarters, and with growth rates of more than 100
percent.

In addition, all of iQ Power's major clients have expressed their intention
of wanting to continue to sell the ECO batteries from iQ Power in the
coming 2011/2012 battery season.

More detailed information about 1st quarter 2011 will be announced as usual
in an interim report to be published on 18 May.
