Skanska to construct office in Oslo for NOK 390 M, or SEK 440 M

Skanska has secured the assignment to construct a new head office in
Oslo for the Norwegian insurance company Gjensidiges Forsikring. The
contract amounts to NOK 390 M, or SEK 440 M, which will be included in
second-quarter order bookings for 2011. The customer is the property
company Rom Eiendom.

The project relates to an office building with eight floors above ground
level and floor space of 15,000 square meters. The building will feature
a green profile, with the aim of achieving Energimerke B (an annual
energy requirement below 126 kWh/sq m) under the Norwegian environmental
certification system.

The project will be built on Schweigaardsgate close to the Oslo Opera
House and Oslo Central Station.

Construction work will commence in the spring and the project is
scheduled for completion in autumn 2013.

Skanska Norway focuses on construction and civil engineering operations.
The unit has approximately 4,100 employees. In 2010, Skanska Norway
reported revenue of about SEK 11 billion. In Norway, Skanska is also
