WatchIt Technologies Out to Prove Their Fuel Savings Device in Detroit

ARDEN, N.C., May 5, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WatchIt Technologies Inc. (Pink Sheets:WTCT) www.watchittech.com stated today that the company has finalized its plan for the next phase of testing and validation on its patent pending fuel savings device, the fuel reformer. After consulting with a number of automotive engineers, this phase of testing by the industry accepted laboratory is necessary to demonstrate the consistent and repeatable performance of our fuel savings device.

The company chose a Detroit based power train test laboratory to perform the testing and analysis. The lab will perform a wide variety of tests and data collection on three separate fuel reformers using the same engine. The basic plan is to establish baseline performance on a specific profile without the fuel reformer installed and then repeat the same profile with each of the three fuel reformers and compare the data.

The power train lab has the capability to capture a wide variety of data on the performance of the fuel savings device. Some of the data that the engineering team has requested is torque and horsepower, line pressures, energy use and a variety of other data that will be useful in the further development of the fuel savings device.

"We believe that this level of testing and validation will greatly assist the company in proving our technology," stated Max Bennett, President and CEO of WatchIt Technologies Inc. "We need to eliminate any doubt and criticism this technology holds before it arises in the marketplace. The company would not be exposing itself to this level of scrutiny and independent testing if we did not have complete confidence in the successful performance of our technology."

"The fuel reformer is not a technology that was born yesterday," continued Bennett. "The fuel savings device has undergone many years of development, testing and evaluation. The original unit has been lab tested three times at ETC in Aurora Colorado and has been road tested a total of 80,000 miles. Each test has produced consistent results. Now is the time to manufacture additional devices for the Detroit power train lab and successfully complete this phase. We are confident in our technology and believe the company is on track for a major break out.
