Ramirent Finland Oy has signed an agreement today on the acquisition of Suomen Sääsuoja Oy, located in Tuusula. The management and all employees of the company will transfer to the new owner’s employ under the current terms of employment.
Suomen Sääsuoja, founded in 2005 and located in Tuusula, specialises in renting scaffolding and weather protection. In 2010, the company’s revenue was EUR 5.9 million. The company has two outlets: Tuusula and Pori.
“The decision of our parent company, Pekkaniska, to focus in the future on its personnel hoist and crane operations as well as Ramirent’s strong desire to develop and invest in the growing weather protection market made the decision to sell an easy one. In addition, from now on our customers will get even better service and a more extensive service range than before,” comments Risto Toivonen, Suomen Sääsuoja Oy’s Managing Director and one of the company’s owners.
