University of Wisconsin Renews Long-Term Partnership With Paciolan

IRVINE, CA and MADISON, WI--(Marketwire - May 25, 2011) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing solutions in college athletics, announced today that the University of Wisconsin has renewed its partnership with the company. Leveraging Paciolan's industry-leading ticketing, marketing and fundraising solutions, Wisconsin has achieved great success with ticket sales for all sports including basketball, football and hockey.

"Our previous experience with Paciolan gave us great confidence in continuing our relationship," said Justin Doherty, associate athletic director, University of Wisconsin. "The company's holistic approach has always served Wisconsin Athletics well and helped us achieve the tremendous success we enjoy today. We look forward to continuing our partnership and to achieving even greater goals together in the future."

This year alone, Wisconsin has won three conference championships, including a Big Ten football championship, a national championship for women's hockey, men's basketball advanced to the Sweet 16, and the wrestling team placed in the Top 10 in the country. Wisconsin parlayed its teams' success to realize record online ticket sales, including selling more than 60 percent of its football singles tickets online. Also, nearly 50 percent of its season ticket holders renew online and 100 percent of students purchase tickets online as well.

Along with Wisconsin's high football season ticket sales -- including over 13,000 students seats and 55,000 season ticket holder seats -- the university also sells a record number of chair backs -- 27,000 -- tied to their online season renewal process. This showcases Wisconsin Athletics as one of the leading institutions in the country in the area of online ticket sales.

Wisconsin also enables season ticket holders and donors to resell unused tickets on a university-managed secondary ticketing site to support its three major sports: football, basketball and hockey. Fans are able to purchase premium tickets from other Badger fans, print them at home and enjoy the game in great seats that would otherwise be unavailable.

Additionally, Wisconsin has been very successful in fundraising by processing a large percentage of its Badger Fund donations through the Paciolan fundraising solution and offering donors the ability to conveniently make their donations online.

"It's exciting to be working with a school that has truly set the bar and achieved so much in college athletics," said David Butler, chief executive officer, Paciolan. "We look forward to continuing to partner with them as they conquer new goals by leveraging our industry-leading ticketing, marketing and fundraising solutions."
