Anfield Announces Appointment of Director and Grant of Options

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 26, 2011) - Anfield Nickel Corp. (TSX VENTURE:ANF) ("Anfield") is pleased to announce that it has appointed Lyle Braaten as an independent director effective May 26, 2011. Mr. Braaten will also serve as a member of the Audit Committee.

In connection with his appointment as a director of Anfield, Anfield granted Mr. Braaten 50,000 options pursuant to its stock option plan. The options have an exercise price of $4.16, will expire on May 26, 2016, and will vest in equal parts over the first three years after grant.
