Most importantly this durable filler can withstand temperatures up to 1,000°F.

Hi-Temp Lab-metal^® is a single-component metal filler that can be applied directly from the can using a putty knife and provides excellent adhesion to any cast or machined metal surface. Once heat hardened, this metal putty can be machined, ground, drilled, and sanded to a smooth finish which can be powder coated and painted for repairing parts used at up to 1,000°F.

Suitable for smoothing welds and filling cracks, dents or voids, Hi-Temp Lab-metal^® will not shrink, air dries within 24 hours, and is weather-resistant. Typical OEM applications include mold refinishing and repairing core boxes, wood and coal burning stoves, industrial ovens, exhaust systems, engines, radiators, and other parts used at high temperatures.
