Executive Chef Howard Pickrel Spices Up Dining in Columbus, Ohio

The 2nd Annual Taste of Hilliard and Business Expo will be held at the Makoy Center, at 5462 Center Street, Hilliard OH 43026. Chef Howard has created extraordinary menus at the Courtyard Columbus West, and he will prepare two of his signature dishes, the raspberry balsamic glazed pork tenderloin as his entrée feature and candied bacon wrapped dates as the desert feature for you to sample.

As an Executive Chef with experience that ranges from preparing meals in 80 seat fine dining establishments to feeding over 3000 students at once in a university setting, Chef Howard has twenty years of industry experience and is no stranger to creating memorable dishes. Chef Howard's passion for cooking led him to the Courtyard Columbus West where he has been displaying his great technical skills and culinary expertise; and has been creating customized menus for social, corporate, and wedding events for the last four years.

Chef Howard attended the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute where he worked under the tutelage of Dieter Kiessling, C.M.C., A.A.C., one of the first U.S. chefs to be accredited Master by the American Culinary Federation. Before joining the Courtyard Columbus West, a Columbia Sussex managed property, Chef Howard worked in several restaurants, ranging from Steakhouses in South Florida to Fine Dining in Maine. This included Sodexo, one of today's leaders in the food service industry, where he was exposed to the Cuisines of the world. Chef Howard also had the opportunity to cook for several local and national politicians as well as international dignitaries.
