TheBroth Integrates BringIt's Engagement as a Service Platform Into Barn Buddy to Increase Playing Time and Revenue

Over 1,500,000 Users Play Barn Blast Mini-Game via BringIt's Platform With 43 Percent Playing Twice or More

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 14, 2011) - Engagement and gaming platform provider, BringIt, today announced that TheBroth has deployed its mini-game platform to increase user retention, engagement and revenue for Barn Buddy, its Tier-1 social Facebook game with over 1.23 Million Daily Active Users (DAU) worldwide. Users can now play BringIt's Barn Blast, a fun and addictive match 3 game, in solo challenges, multi-player tournaments and head-to-head competitions inside of Barn Buddy.

By providing users with additional in-game features and functionality, BringIt increases the time users spend playing Barn Buddy. BringIt also increases monetization as players spend Facebook Credits to compete and win Barn Buddy Credits, the game's premium virtual currency. BringIt completely localized its platform to be incorporated into Komsu Ciftlik, the Turkish language version of Barn Buddy.

Key Barn Blast metrics:

  • Barn Blast has been played by over 1,500,000 users to date
  • 43 percent have played twice or more
  • User engagement increased by 6.5 minutes per session
  • Provided overall ARPU lift to the Barn Buddy economy

Once integrated, BringIt pushes all updates and maintenance with no upkeep by TheBroth. BringIt hosts the entire mini-game, game server, payout algorithms, web app and Rest API, and even handles all associated customer service requests. BringIt also regulates and maintains fair game play with over 40 built-in anti-fraud and anti-exploitation measures.

"BringIt is more than just a mini-game. It is a full suite of challenges, tournaments, social leaderboards and viral mechanics, which keep users engaged and coming back for more," said Markus Weichselbaum, CEO of TheBroth. "BringIt's Engagement as a Service Platform provides a total package solution that drives revenue, retention and engagement while broadening the feature set of our game using the same look and feel. The developer has no upfront investment, ongoing maintenance or risk. We look forward to continuing working with BringIt."

BringIt's Engagement as a Service platform can be easily integrated into social, mobile and open Web games to sink currency and increase stickiness. Through a direct deal with Facebook, the BringIt platform can be integrated into any game to draw in Facebook Credits, most of which sit dormant in users' accounts. Alternatively, users can use premium in-game virtual currency to enter and win solo play, tournaments and head-to-head competitions.

"We are excited to provide Barn Buddy and Komsu Ciftlik with a turnkey platform that enhances the gaming experience while also improving their bottom line," said Woodrow Levin, founder and CEO of BringIt. "More and more developers are integrating BringIt in new and existing games to increase their retention, revenue and engagement while providing more fun for their users. This makes BringIt a win/win proposition for developers and users."
