Hamburg, 19 June 2011 - The Management Board of Asian Bamboo AG today
resolved to end the share buy back program which began on 6 June 2011 and
to begin a new share buy back program under which the Company will buy back
up to 300,000 ordinary shares of the Company.

The new share buy back program is based on and will be executed in
accordance with the authorization granted by the Annual General Meeting on
17 June 2011 and is valid until 16 June 2016. The share buy back will begin
on 20 June 2011 and the shares will be purchased in the open market. The
maximum amount of shares to be repurchased per day will not exceed 25 per
cent of the average daily trading volume of Asian Bamboo shares. The
Company will engage an independent investment bank to handle the share buy
back.
